About American Care
American Care, Inc. was founded and began operations in November of 1996. Today, American Care has grown its provider base and service areas, offering the State of Florida’s first authorized Health Flex Plan. All health care provider centers are owned or directly contracted by American Care. The American Care management team is comprised of professionals with over a century of collective experience in providing expert assistance and health services.
By having each of its providers undergo thorough screening, credentialing and re-credentialing processes, and quality assurance and service questionnaires that are used to ascertain that very good services are provided, American Care members are assured access to the highest quality provider network available today. American Care provides exceptional service with unsurpassed flexibility, customer support and professionalism.
Unlike many companies who claim to have national networks that are actually a conglomeration of rental agreements, American Care believes that it can best serve the needs of its members by providing direct access to providers in the required service areas. As part of its core business American Care operates its own centers and uses its network development expertise to provide access management for national and regional members through customized provider recruitment initiatives in specific geographical areas where the members’ needs are most evident.
American Care has developed a patient care management system called "ACI systems" that provides members access to American Care's services. This state-of-the-art technology provides quick, accurate and total patient care management through:
- Web-based access by the customer to American Care’s secure system
- HIPAA-compliant Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) via secure Internet connectivity
- Web-based Provider Search
